Aims: To provide up-to-date insights into sleep and obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) in the intensive care unit (ICU); ventilatory treatment in obesity hypoventilation syndrome (OHS) (the results of a recent randomised controlled trial will be presented); perioperative sleep disturbances; and sleep-related disorders in the paediatric setting that require evaluation and ventilatory treatment.
Target audience: Pulmonologists, intensivists, sleep physicians respiratory therapists, paediatricians, and surgeons.
