Improving respiratory health through education

Symposium
Chairs: D. Stolz (Basel, Switzerland), S. Aliberti (Milan, Italy)
Aims: to cover the most important and topical areas in respiratory infection, namely vaccination, tuberculosis and smoking. All three areas require ongoing teaching and learning and particularly education about how to communicate important health information between health professionals and individual patients, as well as the public at large. Overcoming misapprehensions, especially on social media, has become an increasingly important aspect of maintaining a rational approach to improve respiratory health.
